Festival of Speed – The Silver Jubilee
The 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed (FoS) was the 25th anniversary of this annual celebration of cars and motorsport. First run in 1993 at the sprawling Goodwood estate in Chichester, West Sussex, this event has moved from strength to strength and has firmly established itself as a firm favourite on any petrol heads’ calendar.
This year’s event also coincided with Porsche’s 70th birthday and Porsche had gone to great lengths to mark the occasion, with a huge stand and presence at Goodwood.
There were cars and bikes aplenty, bikes such as Loris Capirossi’s glorious Motogp bike above.
The manufacturers were out in force with live action displays, static displays and full-bore hill climbs.
