This is Europe’s largest free monthly Porsche-only meet at Ace Cafe on the North Circular Road, Stonebridge, London, and is always worth a visit.
The undoubted stars of May’s event was a pair of nearly identical 911 (993) Carrera RS’.

From Ace Cafe’s website: “At Ace Cafe London we welcome all who share our passion, based upon the rich traditions of motorcycles, cars and rock n’ roll. Established in 1938, today the Ace has become “the home” for petrolheads and is known as the world’s most famous motor cafe”

I could not agree more, even though, there are now more credible challengers to Ace Cafe’s title. Caffeine and Machine to name one.

I like this particular event because of the wide variety of Porsches on show at every single event. Examples of the marque from almost every era are usually on display. There was even a friend’s brand-new 911 (992) on display.

I have warmed to this new Porsche 911 and seeing and hearing this particular one only further reduced my hostility to this model.
Would I buy one? That is a good question.

I hope you have enjoyed these pictures and I will be regularly publishing pictures from these events in the future.

Till the next time.
